Due to cyclonic circulation, an alert has been issued for heavy to very heavy rains in Gujarat for the next four days. In which there is a red alert for extremely heavy rain in Valsad, Daman, Dadra Nagar Haveli on Friday. During the last 24 hours, rain was reported in 212 talukas, in which 178 talukas received up to four and a half inches of rain. During the day on Thursday, Ghogha of Bhavnagar received the highest rainfall of four and a half inches. The highest was 8.5 inches in Tapi’s Vyara, six inches each in Tapi’s Songadh, Junagadh’s Visavdar and Bhavnagar’s Ghogha, more than 4 inches in Palitana, Vapi, Valbhipur and Pardi, while Bhavnagar, Sihore and Una also received four inches, and 3.5 inches in Sutrapada, Sayla, Kodinar. It was raining. Mahuwa, Malia Hatina of Junagadh, Umargam of Valsad, Jafarabad of Amreli also received more than two inches of rain. Gujarat has received 128.24 percent rain so far. In which 128 talukas have received more than 40 inches, 105 talukas have received 20 to 40 inches, 18 talukas have received 10 to 20 inches of rain. Kutch received 183.32 percent, South Gujarat 133.54 percent, Saurashtra 131.59 percent, East Maghya Gujarat 126.04 percent and North Gujarat 109.04 percent.
