The Government of India’s arm India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued forecast of light rain or/and thundershowers today in parts of Gujarat in its latest bulletin.As per IMD bulletin Light rain/thundershowers very likely at isolated places in the districts of North Gujarat region namely Banaskantha and Patan; at isolated places in the districts of Saurashtra-Kutch namely Kutch on 23 January Dry weather is very likely in remaining districts of Gujarat region, Saurashtra-Kutch and in Diu, Daman, Dadra Nagar Haveli. There’s no forecast for possibility of rainfall after 24 January 8.30 am so far Synoptic Situation described by IMD for possibility of unseasonal rainfall is  the Western disturbance as a Trough in middle & upper Tropospheric westerlies with its axis at 5.8 km above mean sea level roughly along Long persists
