In a landmark development, INA Solar has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with S.C Exact Equipment Co. Ltd. to establish a 3 GW turnkey solar cell manufacturing line, marking its official entry into solar cell manufacturing. This move reinforces INA Solar’s commitment to vertical integration and strengthening India’s solar manufacturing ecosystem.

Mr. Manish Gupta, Chairman of INA Solar, and Mr. Vikas Jain, Managing Director, shared that the company started its journey in 2017 with just an 80 MW PV module manufacturing capacity. Today, INA Solar is poised to reach 4 GW PV module capacity by July 2025, and has ambitious plans to scale up to 8 GW module, 3 GW solar cell, and 54,000 MTA aluminium frame production capacity by 2027.

With a relentless focus on quality and innovation, INA Solar has emerged as one of the top 10 solar panel manufacturers in India. The company manufactures advanced solar panels, including TOPCon, monofacial, and bifacial modules, known for their efficiency, durability, and cutting-edge technology.

The company’s manufacturing facilities are powered by AI and robotics, ensuring unmatched precision, productivity, and reliability.

Speaking on the occasion, the company reiterated its mission:

“We are fully committed to taking the ‘Make-in-India’ initiative to the next level. INA Solar is proud to contribute to India’s goal of achieving 500 GW of green energy by 2030, as envisioned by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.”

This strategic expansion into solar cell manufacturing is expected to not only reduce dependency on imports but also accelerate India’s journey toward energy self-reliance and sustainable growth.
