A hearing was held today in the Supreme Court on the bail plea of ​​Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who was involved in the liquor policy scam in Delhi. Kejriwal was arrested first by the ED and then by the CBI. Kejriwal got bail in the ED case but had to remain in jail due to CBI custody. Now this matter was heard in the Supreme Court. A bench of Justice Suryakant and Justice Ujjwal Bhuiyan heard the matter. Now the verdict can come in a few minutes. Veteran lawyer Abhishek Manu Singhvi appeared on behalf of Kejriwal during the hearing held in the Supreme Court and argued. He said that Kejriwal should be granted bail only because he is not a threat to the society. There is no evidence against our client. He has been kept in jail only on the basis of statements. He is the CM of Delhi.
Hopes rose after Manish Sisodia and K. Kavita got bail :
It is to be mentioned that Manish Sisodia, the former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi and a formidable leader of AAP, who was involved in the Delhi Liquor Policy case, got bail in this case. On the other hand, the hope that Kejriwal will get bail increased after K. Kavita, the daughter of the former CM of Telangana, also got bail on a bond of 10 lakhs.
