The Bharatiya Janata Party has set an age limit of 40 years for ward presidents and booth presidents and 60 years for public district presidents, so that grassroots workers have been left out. Now, Vadodara BJP President Dr. Vijay Shah has started the election process for ward presidents. Kushalsinh Padheriya has been appointed as the election officer and he has circulated messages in BJP groups announcing the rules and date for filling the form. Under the Bharatiya Janata Party, Sangathan Parva 2024, for the process of co-organizing new mandal presidents of Vadodara metropolis, the willing workers living in that mandal will have to fill the form subject to the conditions for contesting for the post of president. As per the conditions for contesting for the post of president, workers up to the age of 40 will be able to fill the nomination form. In special cases, the District Election Officer will have the authority to relax the age limit up to a maximum of 45 years (birth certificate, driving license, Aadhaar card, living certificate, passport) along with any 2 proofs.
Must be a current active member and must have been an active member at least once before. Both active members must have the card along with them. Must have held the responsibility of the morcha or cell and project in the district and mandal. Workers and elected members who have been the mandal president for two consecutive terms will not be able to fill the candidacy form. 2 passport size photographs must be brought along. The elected representative should not be a family member of a corporator, MLA or MP. The date and time for receiving the form and submitting the filled form will be on December 7 and 8 from 2.00 pm to 6.00 pm. The form and the filled form must be submitted at the Bharatiya Janata Party office, Manubhai Tower, Sayajiganj, it has been said.
