About a dozen up-down trains have been disrupted due to a train accident in Jharkhand’s Bokaro city. Vande Bharat train has also been stopped. In some state of the country, news of one train accident after another is coming to the fore. Now two coaches of a freight train have derailed in Bokaro city of Jharkhand. This freight train has been derailed near Tupkadih railway station. Railway transport on the Bokaro Gomo railway route has been disrupted due to the incident.

About a dozen up-down trains have been disrupted due to a freight train accident in Bokaro city. The Vande Bharat train from Varanasi to Ranchi has also been stopped at Chanderpura railway station. Relief work is going on at the place where the accident took place and the cause of the accident is being investigated. Railways has launched a new initiative to prevent the increasing number of train accidents in different parts of the country. Railways have formed Railway Guard for the first time. Indian Railways has started this initiative in the North Western Railway (NWR) region as part of a pilot project. The Railway Guard is able to reach the accident site immediately and carry out rescue work. The Railway Minister has given this responsibility to the North Western Railway and the RPF and the mechanical team have been given 4 weeks of special training. Our team rail protection team will reach the accident site in no time. This is a very historic initiative. Indian Railways has installed railway protection team and equipment at Gandhinagar railway station. On the other hand, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that ‘I want to tell those people clearly that those who are trying to derail should not try to politicize railways. Strict action will be taken against them with the help of state police and NIA.’
