UP By Election 2024: After the Lok Sabha elections in Uttar Pradesh, political parties are strategizing for by-elections to be held on ten seats. Uttar Pradesh Congress state president Ajay Rai has made a big statement regarding the seat allocation in the by-elections. He said that we have filed nomination on 5 seats, and SP will fight strongly on 5 seats. For the rest of the seats, the national representative will decide. We have demanded to declare the candidature of 5 seats. We are with the central leadership.
Ajay Rai said in the conversation that the SP will contest the elections with full strength by selecting MPs from the Samajwadi Party on the five seats. BJP and its supporting parties have five seats. On which Congress has also claimed. The final decision will be taken by the national representative on how many seats to contest. Ajay Rai has demanded that the national representative take a decision on the five seats which belong to the BJP alliance, he will go ahead with his decision.
By-elections on these 10 seats:
By-elections are to be held on the ten assembly seats of Uttar Pradesh. These include Phulpur, Khair, Ghaziabad, Mazwan, Mirapur, Milkipur, Karahal, Katehri, and Kundarki. Elections will also be held from the Seesamau seat as SP MLA Irfan Solanki’s membership was revoked due to a criminal case. It is worth mentioning that the election dates have not been decided yet. But strategies are being formulated regarding it.
