Well Done CA Sahab hits theatres on June 27, locking horns with Aamir Khan’s Sitaare Zameen Par! For the first time in 100 years of Indian cinema, a Chartered Accountant takes center stage — not in a balance sheet, but on the big screen.

Well Done CA Sahab, a Hindi feature film made by a bunch of passionate professionals from Ahmedabad, is set to release across India on June 27, 2025, going head-to-head with a mega-starrer and doing it with pure indie courage. This isn’t your typical ‘content-driven’ film. It’s a heartfelt salute to the grit, grind, and guts of India’s CA aspirants — students who battle one of the toughest exams in the country, with zero shortcuts and infinite hustle.

The film is written and creatively produced by CA Aaditya Trivedi, who traded in tax returns for storytelling, and directed by Sarvesh Kumar Singh. Indie Productions joins in as creative collaborators, adding depth and texture to the narrative. Actor Gopal Datt, Sayandeep Sengupta, Nishma Soni, Jyoti Kapoor, and Gaurav Paswala — each playing their role like a pro, no frills, all feels. Music by Sanchit Balhara (yes, the guy behind Bajirao Mastani) Sound design by Samiran Das (of Pathaan fame) — a solid sonic punch for this grounded indie gem.

Shot largely in Ahmedabad and surrounding areas, the film keeps it raw, real, and regionally rooted. It’s full of the kind of emotional texture that doesn’t need gloss to glow — especially for the Gujarati audience. Well Done CA Sahab is not just a film — it’s a shout-out to every student burning the midnight oil, every underdog chasing dreams, and every storyteller who said “let’s do it anyway.”
