After receiving the gift of three new Vande Bharat Express trains, there will soon be another good news from the Indian Railways. Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav visited BEML’s factory in Bengaluru on Sunday (September 1). Here he unveiled a replica version of the Vande Bharat Express sleeper coach. He said, ‘The sleeper coach of Vande Bharat Express will be tested for 10 days before operating. The operation of this train is likely to start in the next three months. Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said, ‘The construction of Vande sleeper coach has been completed. This is a complete sleeper version. Many things have been kept in mind in this coach. Vande Chair Car, Vande Sleeper, Vande Metro and Amrit Bharat have been designed keeping in mind many things like modernity. The Railway Minister said, ‘Vande Bharat Sleeper Train will cover 160 km. will run at a speed of 180 kmph. Can go up to a top speed of 1 hour. The train will have a total of 16 coaches, out of which 11 will be 3AC, 4 2AC and 1 first class coach. Further, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said, “Designing a new train was a complex task. Many new features are provided in Vande Sleeper. These projects show an ambitious India under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Notably, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday flagged off 3 new Vande Bharat trains connecting Meerut to Lucknow, Madurai to Bengaluru and Chennai to Nagercoil.
