Hyderabad Disaster Management and Property Protection Agency (HYDRA) has taken a major action against South superstar Nagarjuna. HYDRA has turned a bulldozer on Nagarjuna’s convention hall. This action has been taken due to illegal pressure. This hall was built near Shilparamam in Rangareddy district. This land comes under FTL zone. According to reports, the 10-acre convention hall has been under investigation for several years. Investigation revealed that 1.12 acres of this land was within the full tank level (FTL) of the lake, while more than 2 acres fell within the lake’s buffer zone. This illegal construction violates many land use and environmental regulations. Demolition proceedings were started on Saturday (24th August) morning. Officials of the Hyderabad Municipal Corporation were present at the venue along with a large number of policemen. The convention hall used to host large weddings and corporate events. On the other hand, Nagarjuna approached the High Court to stop the proceedings. Nagarjuna said that such action is illegal. This construction has been done with permission. After hearing these arguments, the High Court ordered a stay on the action of turning the bulldozer.
Pained by the unlawful manner of demolition carried out in respect of N Convention, contrary to existing stay orders and Court cases.
