Surat : Off-Season Ultimate (OSU) is delighted to announce that their Off-Season Ultimate YouTube Channel is the chosen destination for the exclusive coverage of the Mixed Nationals a part of National Championship series, set to take place from November 29 to December 1 at Rander Islam Gymkhana and Fountainhead School in Surat, Gujarat. Surat, which has a growing frisbee culture, will become the newest destination for a national-level frisbee tournament. The Mixed Nationals Tournament will feature 19 teams from across seven states in India that includes two teams from Surat, will be seen competing for the top honours in the highly anticipated three-day tournament.India’s top-seeded teams, including Airborne, Airbenders One, Stall7, and others from across the country consisting of mixed-gender players, are poised to deliver an exceptional performance, promising an exciting and competitive showdown.”We are excited to bring the Mixed Nationals Tournament to life for audiences everywhere through our live broadcasts,” said Rishabh Kishore, co-founder of Off-Season Ultimate. “This tournament is a testament to the talent and dedication of the Ultimate Frisbee community in India. Known for its unique self-officiation and emphasis on fair play—termed the “Spirit of the Game”—the sport exemplifies integrity, teamwork, and athletic prowess.Frisbee, popularly played as Ultimate Frisbee, is growing steadily in India as a community-driven sport emphasizing teamwork, inclusivity, and fitness, with active communities in cities like Bengaluru, Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, and Pune, and around 15,000 players nationwide. Indian teams have impressed at the Asia-Oceanic Ultimate Championships and the World Ultimate Championships, earning recognition for their spirited performances.
