New Delhi: The biggest drug racket of the state has been busted from the national capital Delhi. Delhi Police has seized around 565 kg of cocaine in raids. According to the international prices, the total price is estimated to be around 5000 crore rupees. Along with this, the police have also arrested four people. Earlier on Sunday, two Afghans were caught with 400 grams of drugs, whose interrogation and input from agencies has brought this biggest racket to light. There are also possibilities of having an international syndicate behind it. The Special Cell of Delhi Police said that earlier 360 kg of heroin was seized but cocaine was seized in very small quantity, this is the first time that more than 500 kg of cocaine has been seized in Delhi. Among the four people who have been arrested, the kingpin’s name has emerged as Tushar Goyal. He is a resident of Vasant Vihar, Delhi. His other allies Aurangzeb, Himanshu are also captured.

Delhi Special Cell Additional Commissioner Pramod Kushwaha said that the police had first seized 15 kg of cocaine from the accused, after which a warehouse in Mahipalpur Extension was raided, from where this huge quantity was seized. The drugs were hidden inside the covers of 23 cartons and 8 US polo shirts. The entire racket was being operated by a handler from a Middle East country. These drugs were delivered to Delhi from different cities of the country. A very small amount was used to accumulate or sell the drugs so that the entire quantity was not seized at once. Just on Sunday, officials of the Delhi Customs Department seized a Liberian citizen from the airport with 1660 grams of cocaine, the value of which is estimated to be around 24 crore rupees. While two Afghans were caught with 400 grams of heroin and 160 grams of cocaine in Tilak Nagar area. Two days later i.e. on Wednesday, the capital’s biggest drug carat has been seized. The amount of drug smuggling in India has been increasing alarmingly for some time now. This year only in the month of February, 3300 kg of drugs were seized from the sea area of ​​Gujarat, which is considered to be the biggest drug racket in the country.
