Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi’s husband Robert Vadra has reacted to Kangana Ranaut’s statement about farmers. Kangana is a BJP MP, to which Vadra says that there is no place for him in Parliament and he does not deserve to be in Parliament. Bollywood actress-turned-MP Kanga has been in the media headlines for her statements and is back in the limelight after her recent statement on farmers. Robert Vadra said on MP Kangana Ranaut’s statement in a media interaction, ‘She is a woman. I respect him but I think he does not deserve to be in Parliament. He is not educated. She doesn’t think about people. He should think about women.’ Vadra has appealed to people to come together on the issue of women’s safety. Robert Vadra emphasized on women’s safety and said that all political forces should come together and think about the issue of women’s safety. Kangana Ranaut allegedly made a controversial comment about farmers in an interview. About the months-long farmers’ protests, she opined that if there was no strong government, a Bangladesh-like situation could have arisen in the country. During the agitation, Kangana Ranaut claimed, ‘bodies were hanging’ and ‘rapes’ were taking place. The ruling party BJP MP further claimed that there was a conspiracy of countries like America and China behind the agitation. The opposition forces started surrounding Kangana and the BJP-led central government over it. Opposition parties are accusing the BJP government of being anti-farmer and anti-women over Kangana’s statement. Robert Vadra had arrived to visit places of worship and meet people from different sections of society, including disabled children. He then reacted to Kangana Ranaut’s statement and called her unfit for Parliament.
