A shocking incident has come to light from Bengaluru. A 16-year-old boy died after allegedly jumping from the seventh floor of his apartment in Geddalahalli there. Police gave this information on Monday. They said that he was a first-year student of a pre-university course in a school in Bengaluru and the incident took place on Sunday. A senior police officer said, ‘We are investigating the reason behind his taking such a big step.’ Suicide cases among teenagers and students are increasing rapidly in the country. Talking about the latest case, a minor student committed suicide in Kota, Rajasthan just three days ago. The deceased was identified as 16-year-old Vivek Kumar. Who was preparing for the Engineering Entrance Examination (JEE) while staying in a hostel located in Jawahar Nagar. He lost his life by jumping from the sixth floor of the hostel on Friday night. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot, took possession of the body and sent it for postmortem and started investigating the matter. According to the information, Vivek, a resident of Anooppur, Madhya Pradesh, had come to Kota in April and was studying from a coaching institute. Vivek’s father Inder Kumar said that he was good in studies and always remained positive. The last talk was had with his son on Friday morning. In which he told that he would not go for coaching and would study in the hostel. After that, the information about the incident was received from the hostel at night.
