During the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong in Singapore on Thursday, four MoUs were signed to strengthen bilateral partnership in various fields. The MoU is based on digital technology, semiconductor, health and medical sectors and educational cooperation and skill development. In this regard, PM Modi said, ‘Singapore is an inspiration for every developing country. We also want to create many Singapores in India and I am happy that we are working together in this direction.”MoUs were signed on DPI, cyber-security, 5G, super-computing and AI technology. Also, an MoU regarding investment in Singaporean semiconductor companies in India has also been signed. Apart from this, the two countries have also signed agreements for skill development in health services, technical and vocational education.
