Pollution is a major problem in the capital Delhi. Now to deal with this pollution problem, firecrackers have been banned in Delhi this year too. Environment Minister Gopal Rai said that in view of the risk of pollution in winter, there will be a complete ban on the production, storage, sale and use of firecrackers. Gopal Rai said that online delivery or sale of any kind of firecrackers will also be completely banned. This ban is valid for all types of firecrackers so that there is no doubt among the people about the firecrackers. This ban will be applicable in Delhi till January 1, 2025. Gopal Rai said that the Delhi government does not want any kind of financial loss to traders and dealers. To avoid any such situation it has been decided to impose a complete ban on manufacture, storage, sale and use of all types of firecrackers in time. A joint action plan will be prepared with Delhi Police, DPCC and Revenue Department to strictly implement the ban in Delhi. He further said that the Delhi government is very serious about controlling pollution. The government is preparing a winter action plan based on 21 focus points to bring pollution under control. In the coming days, various campaigns will be conducted as per the Winter Action Plan, so that the pollution can be controlled. In such a situation, we appeal to the people of Delhi to support the government to control the pollution. We would like to say to Delhiites, celebrate the festival by lighting Deepak and distributing sweets. We have to celebrate the festival with pomp but with equal responsibility we have to curb pollution.
