Punjab News: After Kurali village of Punjab, Jandpur village of Kharar has also imposed strict restrictions for tourists. The board installed in the village states that no tourist should be seen walking outside after 9 pm. The village has a population of around 2000 out of which 500 are tourists. Villagers believe that if they want to stay here, they have to follow these rules. Boards have been installed at many places in the village and directions for tourists have been written on them.
Police verification of travelers will be made necessary:
Many tourists are forced to accept this unilateral decision. So some people have decided to leave the village itself. It has been stated in this board that police verification of tourists will be made necessary. Apart from this, smoking cigarettes, eating gutkha and use of pan masala are not allowed. This causes it to spit on the road and spread dirt.
