If you have applied for a passport earlier and got an appointment between August 30 and September 2, it will have to be rescheduled for another date. That is why applicants across the country including Delhi may face harassment. Application for a new passport cannot be made during this period. According to the information given by the passport department, this portal will not work for five days due to technical reasons. Due to this, the functioning of Passport Seva Kendra, Regional Passport Office, Police Verification of applicants and Ministry of External Affairs will also be affected.
