
Pakistan attacked Punjab for the third time after India’s ‘Operation Sindoor’ airstrike. The drone attack took place in Amritsar at 5 am. However, the Indian Army’s S-400 defense system shot down two drones in the Khasa area. One of these was small and the other was big. After the attack in Pathankot late at night, the police started a search operation near the airbase on Friday morning. During this, a bomb was found on the river bank. After which the army evacuated the area. Along with this, a drone was found near Karoli village. The army has taken it under its control. Here too, at 4:30 am, 3-4 explosions were heard. After the attack on Thursday night, pieces of Pakistani rockets were found lying in the fields of Tungwali village of Beed Talab and Natha block of Bathinda. The explosions took place here at night. The explosion in Tungwali broke the windows and door glass of a house. Bathinda SSP Amanit Kaundal said that an army team has reached the spot and is investigating. A rocket has also been found lying in Kamhi Devi, Hoshiarpur. At 8.15 pm, the sound of explosions was heard in Uchchi Bassi. There is an army camp here. Internet remained shut in Faridkot for about 13 hours. This order was implemented from 12 midnight to prevent the spread of rumors. Internet services were restored at 12:45 pm today. Seeing the situation in Punjab, the government has cancelled the leave of all IAS officers. They have been banned from leaving their headquarters. 10 ministers of the government will visit the border areas today. On Friday morning, an air raid warning was given in Chandigarh for 20 minutes. The siren continued to sound for about 10 minutes. The administration has issued an order that the employees of all departments, boards and corporations should be present at their respective headquarters i.e. Chandigarh. Until the new order comes, no employee will be able to go outside Chandigarh without permission. Along with this, a ban has been imposed on bursting firecrackers till July 7. After continuous drone attacks by Pakistan, the Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) has suspended bus services for Pathankot, Amritsar, Jalandhar and Jammu. Buses going to Katra have also been stopped midway.
