Preparations for Bollywood’s most awaited film ‘Ramayan’ are going on in full swing. In this film, Ranbir Kapoor is playing the role of Lord Shri Ram while South actress Sai Pallavi is playing the role of Sita. Now during an interview the casting director of the film Mukesh Chhabra has said that many actors refused to play the role of Laxman with Ranbir. Recently, the casting director Mukesh Chhabra appeared on Ranveer Allahabadia’s podcast. In an interview, he said that he had to face the biggest difficulties in casting Lakshman in Ramayana. Mukesh Chhabra was looking for an actor for the film who could be inferred to be in love with and follow Lord Ram. Mukesh Chhabra did not reveal the name of the actor finalized for the role of Laxman, although he hinted that the actor finalized for the role is a television actor. Even now when I think about it, I think there could not have been a better Laxman than him, Mukesh Chhabra said without naming names. I am very happy that all the people I approached earlier refused. Two or three people refused, so I thought it was okay. According to a recent E-Times report, popular TV actor and producer Ravi Dubey has been cast as Lakshmana in Ramayana. In the film, Ranbir Kapoor is playing the role of Lord Ram and Sai Pallavi is playing the role of Mother Sita. If reports are to be believed then Sunny Deol will play the role of Hanuman and Harman Baweja Vibhishan in the film.
