Jeet Adani, who is tying the knot with Diva Shah on February 7, 2025, has created a buzz on social media, with most guessing it to be a very lavish, celebrity-studded do. However, in a welcome twist, Gautam Adani has said that this is a traditional, close-knit affair, attended by family and close friends. What makes this wedding truly unique is its deeper purpose: a commitment to inclusivity and giving back to the community.Jeet, an ardent activist for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs), is incorporating social responsibility into his wedding celebrations. For him, this union is not just about love but also about the often-overlooked potential of PwDs. His approach is setting a new precedent for weddings with meaning—where the celebration extends beyond the personal to the social.Philanthropy has always been at the heart of the Adani family. This commitment is exemplified by the Adani Foundation’s GreenX Talks, empowering changemakers who prioritize impact over profit. Through GreenX, the foundation promotes the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and has already touched the lives of over 9 million people across India, especially within marginalized communities. The inclusion of PwDs is a key priority, with over 30 employees with disabilities thriving within the Adani Group, showing that diversity fosters progress.Jeet’s social impact efforts are not only represented by the foundation. On Shark Tank, he spoke about his mission to uplift marginalized communities, saying disabilities have no right to define people. Through partnerships with NGOs such as Mitti Café and Family for Disabled, Jeet is advocating for employment as a tool for dignity and empowerment. His work collates with the Adani Group’s mandate of having 5% of the workforce comprise PwDs.

Jeet’s personal commitment to social change was further showcased when he visited Mitti Café, a non-profit that employs differently-abled individuals. Inspired by founder Alina, he has supported the establishment of a Mitti Café at Mumbai’s airport. This visit reaffirmed his commitment to fostering inclusive employment within the Adani Group. In addition, a revolutionary collaboration with designer Manish Malhotra and FOD merges high fashion and social causes. And Manish Malhotra is to design shawls for Jeet and Diva’s wedding, where craft merges into a mission to showcase the talents of PwDs.In addition, the wedding will showcase the skills and craftsmanship of talented artisans from all across India with the NGOs FOD and Kai Rassi. In this case, Nikita Ji and Prakash Ji have been great and infused unique jewelry and nail art pieces with beauty, while glass artists of Firozabad have produced breath-taking pieces. These are artisans with disabilities who are being accorded recognition for their skills and artistry, which further contributes to the empowerment mission of the wedding. The initiative launched before the wedding is called Mangal Seva. It would financially assist 500 newly wed women with disabilities each year and empower them to begin their life after marriage with dignity and confidence. They would be provided INR 10 lakh each year to begin a new life with dignity and confidence. Jeet met the 25 newly married divyang women and their husbands personally, providing them with financial assistance as a symbol of his commitment to societal inclusion. Gautam Adani, the father of Jeet, stated that he feels proud of Mangal Seva, considering it a strong addition to making this world more inclusive. He considers this initiative will bring lifelong happiness and respect in the lives of many women who are disabled. It’s a very profound statement of purpose, blending love with social impact. The Adani family has joined hands with NGOs and artisans to create this celebration that empowers people with disabilities and celebrates local craftsmanship. This inclusiveness turns ordinary wedding rites into a declarative statement of unity and intent. In trying to have long-lasting, positive impacts on the kind of values that this family holds dear, they embody the philosophy that meaningful celebrations are not just about having fun; they have an effect on their lives and support a higher cause.
