Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Coordinator Arvind Kejriwal resigned from the post of Chief Minister of Delhi yesterday. After resigning from the post of Chief Minister of Delhi, Aam Aadmi Party chief Kejriwal has decided to leave all the facilities including the government house. According to the information, Kejriwal will leave the Chief Minister’s residence in the next 15 days. Although three months time is given to vacate the government house after stepping down as Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal does not want to take that much time. So, they will vacate the ‘Sheeshmahal’ within 15 days.

Where will Kejriwal live after leaving government accommodation?

AAP MP Sanjay Singh said in a press conference today, “Arvind Kejriwal is now only an MLA after resigning from the post of Chief Minister. In such a situation he will get only the government services, salary and allowances received as an MLA. He is an MLA from New Delhi assembly seat, but there is no provision for allotment of government accommodation to former chief minister, so he will not get government accommodation. In such a situation they have to find their new home by themselves. Arvind Kejriwal will have to give up the government house, government car and government security he got as the chief minister as soon as he quits the post. On the other hand, the opponents called Sanjay Singh’s press conference on this issue a fraud and said that an attempt is being made to portray Kejriwal as an idol of sacrifice. Legislative Assembly As per election affidavit filed for election 2020, Arvind Kejriwal has no house. He doesn’t even have his own car. In such a situation, the question is, will Kejriwal stay in a rented house now? According to sources, being the president of the National Political Party, he may get a government house, but will he take the government house? This is also a question. He hardly got space to build his own party office. There is talk that Kejriwal is looking for a place for himself in Central Delhi. Importantly, after announcing his resignation as Chief Minister, he said that he will sit on the post of CM only when the public gives him a certificate of sincerity.
