Delhi’s Liquor Policy Scam The Rouse Avenue Court on Thursday (August 8) extended Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s judicial till August 20 in the CBI case related to the liquor scam. Kejriwal was presented through video conferencing from Tihar Jail.

On Monday (August 5th), the Delhi High Court rejected Chief Minister Kejriwal’s bail plea in the liquor policy scam. Now Kejriwal will knock the door of the Supreme Court against the order of the High Court. After the order of the High Court, now he cannot come out of the jail. The court has also rejected the petition declaring the arrest illegal in the CBI case. Along with this, the court has also rejected his interim bail application. The High Court has asked to go to the lower court for bail. The Delhi High Court on Wednesday (August 7) ​​asked the Enforcement Directorate (ED) what aspect is pending in the plea challenging the bail granted to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal after he was granted interim bail by the Supreme Court in an excise-related money laundering case. On seeking a new date, Justice Krishna said, ‘Last time also adjournment was sought. You cannot request the court every time, as if the court has no other work to do. You have to adjust your diary accordingly. Don’t think that the court will give you a date without thinking.’The ED’s lawyer clarified that, ‘Last time the date was demanded not by the investigating agency but by your lawyer.’ He requested the High Court to fix an earlier date for hearing the case. The matter will now be heard on September 5.
