Aam Aadmi Party organized ‘Janata Ki Adalat’ program at Jantar-Mantar in Delhi. Addressing the program, Arvind Kejriwal said, ‘April 4, 2011 was the day when the anti-corruption Anna movement started. We were running the government with integrity. Provided facilities to public, made free electricity, free water, free bus travel for women, free pilgrimage for elders, built hospitals, mohalla clinics and excellent schools. After working with integrity for 10 years, Narendra Modi started to feel that if he wants to win from this, he needs to work on his integrity. So they falsely accused me of corruption. Our ministers and leaders were jailed one by one. Attacking the BJP, Arvind Kejriwal said, ‘These leaders (BJP) do not care about cases and lawsuits, their skin has become thick. However, I am not like this. I am not a leader, my skin is not thick. I care about false accusations. It makes no difference to me if I am called a thief and corrupt. I am very sad, so resigned. I have earned only respect and honesty in my life. I have no money in the bank. I have resigned from the post of Chief Minister after 10 years. I will also leave the accommodation in a few minutes. Today I don’t even have a house to live in Delhi.’
Attacks on JP Nadda:
Meanwhile, former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal also made a sharp comment on the relationship between Bharatiya Janata Party and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. Kejriwal said, ‘RSS is the mother of BJP, but today BJP is showing its eyes to its mother.’ Kejriwal’s statement was in reference to a comment by JP Nadda, in which Nadda said, ‘BJP no longer needs RSS.’ Kejriwal questioned and said, ‘Are you not hurt by this comment of JP Nadda?’ Kejriwal emphasized that the BJP and the RSS have a close relationship and such comments serve to hurt this relationship.
