Indian badminton athlete and IAS officer Suhas Yathiraj has created history at the Paris Paralympics 2024. Suhas Yathiraj won silver medal in men’s singles SL4 category. India has so far won a total of 15 medals in the Paris Paralympics 2024 creating a historic record. Suhas has won a medal at the Paralympics for the second time in a row. Earlier in 2020 Tokyo Paralympics also Suhas managed to win silver medal. He has now become the first Indian badminton player to win two consecutive Paralympics medals.
