Pakistan’s Olympic gold medalist Arshad Nadeem created history for his country on the night of August 8. Arshad became the first athlete to win an individual gold medal for Pakistan. He also gave Pakistan a medal in Olympics after 32 years. Not only that, Arshad won the gold medal with a throw of 92.97 meters. Which itself is an Olympic record. Arshad had thrown more than 90 meters twice. After winning this medal, Arshad posted a post on his social media account in which he wrote, “First of all, I thank Allah for this special achievement. The prayers of my family, the prayers of the entire nation and especially the tireless efforts of my coach Salman Iqbal Butt and Dr. I have achieved this feat with the help of Ali Sher Bazwa. Thank you all.’ Let us tell you that Arshad also created an Olympic record by throwing 92.97 meters. The previous record was held by Norway’s Andreas Thorkilsson. He threw 90.57 meters in the Beijing Olympics. After Arshad’s gold in this Olympics, Neeraj Chopra got the silver medal. Neeraj’s best throw at the Olympics was 89.45 which was also his season best score.
How many rupees will Arshad get? :
For winning gold medal in Paris Olympics, Arshad Nadeem will get 50 thousand dollars i.e. 41 lakh rupees according to Indian currency and 1 crore 40 lakh rupees according to Pakistani currency. An inmoney year was made on Nadeem in Pakistan. The Sindh government and its governor have announced the reward amount for Arshad. According to the announcements made so far, Arshad is to receive a total of six crore Pakistani rupees. Which is 1,53,66,058 rupees according to Indian currency. According to Pakistani news channels, the government of Sindh state is going to give five crore Pakistani rupees (1.5 crore Indian rupees). Besides this, the Governor of Sindh announced to give 10 lakh Pakistani rupees (3 lakh Indian rupees) to X. Apart from this, singer Ali Zafar also announced a reward of 10 lakhs to Nadeem. Not only this, Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab announced that a sports academy in the name of Arshad Nadeem will be opened in Karachi.
Four crores to Vinesh:
While one and a half crore rupees have been announced to Arshad for gold, the Haryana government has announced a reward of 4 crore rupees to Vinesh Phogat, who will be disqualified in the wrestling final. Apart from this, the hockey team will get a prize of crores for winning the bronze medal.
