Heavy rains have created flood conditions in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. In Gujarat too, some districts have become submerged in water. Floods have caused massive destruction in Vijayawada, Guntur, Krishna, Eluru, Palanadu, Bapatla, Prakasam. 40 teams of SDRF and NDRF have been deployed for rescue operations. Power supply has been lost in many areas. Public life has become chaotic. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has directed three wings of the army to provide relief services through helicopters, drones, boats and tractors. Telangana has suffered a loss of 5438 crores in three days due to floods.
