While the rainfall situation has persisted in many states across the country, including Gujarat, and normal to heavy rains have occurred at many places today, the Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rains for three consecutive days in 15 states from tomorrow. An alert has been issued. Apart from this, yellow alert has been declared for Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Goa, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura. The Regional Meteorological Center of Delhi has predicted normal rain to thundershowers. A yellow alert has been declared in the national capital today. Rainy conditions are likely to remain in the capital till September 9. Uttarakhand is likely to receive very heavy rains on September 6 and different parts of Rajasthan till September 7. Apart from this, heavy rain is likely to occur in Uttar Pradesh on September 6, Uttarakhand till September 7 and Rajasthan till September 9. Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura are predicted to receive heavy rain on September 11, Assam, Meghalaya, Odisha on September 7. As for Gujarat, light to moderate rain may occur in several districts of the state on September 7 and 8, while moderate rain with thunder may occur on September 9.
