Gandhinagar : After heavy to heavy rains in Gujarat during the last week, Meghraja has now taken a break. The intensity of heavy to very heavy rains will decrease today on August 31 and the yellow alert for heavy rains in the districts including Saurashtra, Kutch, South Gujarat when there will be green alert in Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Anand. An alert has been declared in Navsari and Valsad districts on September 1 due to heavy rains. Apart from this, no warning has been declared in 31 districts. According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, heavy rain is expected in the districts of South Gujarat and Central Gujarat during the next 3 to 5 September in the state. In which Orange Alert has been issued following heavy to very heavy rain at scattered places in Bharuch and Narmada districts on September 3 and Yellow Alert has been declared in Anand, Vadodara, Chhota Udepur, Tapi, Navsari, Dang, Surat and Valsad districts including Bhavnagar. , Amreli of Saurashtra. On September 4 Orange alert in Bharuch and Vadodara districts and yellow alert in Amreli, Bhavnagar including Dahod, Panchmahal, Anand, Chhota Udepur, Narmada, Tapi, Surat, Dang, Navsari and Valsad districts of Saurashtra following heavy rains. While on September 5, yellow alert has been announced in Panchmahal, Vadodara and Bharuch districts due to heavy rain. Apart from this, no warning has been declared in 30 districts.
