The state’s allocation of ₹3,600 crore to MSMEs and startups, coupled with the ₹2,000 crore Gujarat Textile Policy, is anticipated to stimulate entrepreneurship and generate substantial employment opportunities, particularly within the manufacturing and service sectors. The budget’s emphasis on infrastructure development, encompassing projects such as the ₹60,000 crore Greenfield expressways and metro expansions in Ahmedabad-Gandhinagar and Surat, will significantly enhance mobility, attract investment, and solidify Gujarat’s standing as a prime business location.Further enhancements to regional connectivity and urban development are expected through initiatives such as the ₹350 crore Sabarmati Riverfront expansion and the new Greenfield airport in Dahod. Allocations for tourism and religious infrastructure will create new avenues for growth in hospitality, cultural tourism, and related industries.Investments in Medicity expansions and AI-driven education initiatives demonstrate a commitment to future-readiness, ensuring Gujarat’s competitiveness in healthcare, technology, and skills development. Finally, the budget’s focus on sustainability projects, along with a progressive policy for Global Capability Centers (GCCs) projected to generate employment, effectively balances economic growth with long-term resilience.
