Maharashtra Election: The Congress, which was celebrating its victory in Haryana, fell head over heels as soon as the result came out. Congress has not been able to digest this crushing defeat till now. Over confidence is also being considered as the reason for this result. Because of this, the Congress, burnt with milk in Haryana, is also drinking buttermilk in Maharashtra. In a meeting with Maharashtra Congress leaders on Monday, Rahul Gandhi warned that you have to avoid overconfidence. You work together and avoid any overconfidence.
BJP won in Haryana for the third time
It may be noted that the Election Commission has announced the election dates for Maharashtra and Jharkhand. The Congress, which defeated the BJP with a majority on its own in the Lok Sabha elections, hoped that it would bring good results in Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir. Especially in Haryana, the party had hoped for power on its own, but the result shocked. BJP won in Haryana for the third time in a row. Now BJP is confident of winning in Maharashtra too. However, the Congress is still treading very cautiously there. So far, Congress is not confident that it will be number one in Maharashtra.
CHALLENGE FOR INDIA COALITION
Let us tell you that seat sharing in Maharashtra is also a challenge for the INDIA alliance. Uddhav Thackeray is seeking the maximum number of seats, though the Congress says he will contest the maximum number of seats given the performance of the Lok Sabha polls. However, there is an agreement between the three that they will contest the elections together in any situation. Let it be known that Mahavikas Aghadi got good success in the Lok Sabha elections. The alliance won 31 out of 48 seats in the state. Also, the BJP-led NDA won only 17 seats. Since then the INDIA coalition has been buoyant in the state, but the Haryana result has put all parties from Rahul Gandhi on alert.
Confusion over seats
Keeping in mind the Haryana election results, every effort is being made to keep all the controversial issues at bay. Even the Chief Minister’s face will not be disclosed. According to the talks between the three parties so far, Congress can contest 110 to 115 seats. Also, Uddhav Sena is expected to get 90 to 95 seats. Sharad Pawar’s NCP may get 80 to 85 seats.
