On Tuesday (20th August) a horrific accident has occurred in Madhya Pradesh’s Chhatarpur. An auto rickshaw of pilgrims going to Bageshwar Dham rammed into the back of a truck. In this accident, 7 people died, while 4 people were injured. The injured have been shifted to hospital for treatment. The accident was so terrible that the auto rickshaw was thrown off the road. According to reports, the accident took place on NH 39 near Kadari at around 5 am. The devotees were going to Bageshwar Dham in an auto rickshaw from Chhatarpur railway station. Meanwhile, the auto rickshaw rammed behind the truck. The accident was so terrible that 5 people died on the spot, while two died in the hospital. The family of the accident victim has been identified as belonging to Lucknow. The family was going to Bageshwar Dham to get their one-year-old daughter shaved. Five other people who lost their lives in the accident have not been identified. Now, following this accident, the police have reached the spot and started further investigation.
