Devendra Fadnavis reaches Mantralaya with Narendra’s blessings: Nath of Maharashtra: Ajit arrives with him: First cabinet decision to provide ₹5 lakh assistance to patients

A new government has been formed 13 days after the Maharashtra election results. Devendra Fadnavis took oath as Chief Minister for the third time in 10 years. He is the first BJP leader to do so. After taking oath, he went to PM Modi and congratulated him. After Fadnavis, former Chief Minister Eknath Shinde took oath as Deputy CM. Before taking oath, he took the names of Balasaheb Thackeray and Anand Dighe. He thanked Prime Minister Modi and Amit Shah. He is the second leader of the state who has become Deputy CM after CM. After Shinde, NCP leader Ajit Pawar took oath as Deputy CM. He has become Deputy CM of the state for the sixth time. He has become the first leader from Maharashtra to become Deputy CM in both the Mahayuti and Maha Vikas Aghadi coalition governments. Fadnavis, Shinde and Ajit reached the ministry half an hour after the oath-taking ceremony. In the first cabinet meeting, Devendra Fadnavis decided to provide Rs. 5 lakh assistance from the Chief Minister’s Medical Relief Fund for the treatment of Pune patient Chandrakant Shankar Kurhade. The oath-taking ceremony began at 5:31 pm at Azad Maidan in Mumbai, which lasted for about 30 minutes. The three leaders took oath in Marathi in front of Governor CP Radhakrishnan. Apart from PM Modi, Amit Shah, Nitin Gadkari, CMs and Deputy CMs of 20 states and Union Territories ruled by NDA including Nitish Kumar, Chandrababu Naidu attended the ceremony. After taking charge as CM, Devendra Fadnavis said in a press conference – Our role has changed, our direction has not changed. You will see a government that will take everyone along. If problems arise, we will find a way together and take Maharashtra forward. Currently, Rs 1500 is given under the Ladli Behena scheme, which will be increased to Rs 2100. First, we will strengthen the financial resources, then we will increase it. A special session of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly will be held on December 7, 8 and 9. The election of the Assembly Speaker will be held on December 9 and the cabinet has been decided. There will be no further changes in this. Portfolios will be distributed after all ministers take oath before the winter session.
