As the rain has changed the pattern, after the unbearable heat for the last few days, 153 talukas have received rain in 24 hours across the state including Ahmedabad. Memco-Naroda area was inundated with over two inches of rain on Friday. Rainy weather has been observed in most parts of Ahmedabad since early morning today. Flooding has started in low-lying areas of the city. On the other hand, the Mitakhali underpass has been closed. It may be mentioned here that heavy to very heavy rain has been predicted in Ahmedabad district for the next two days by the Meteorological Department. Meghraja has arrived again in Surat. It is raining everywhere in different areas of the city. It is raining everywhere in Adajan, Jahangirpura, Rander, Katargam, Khatodara, Piplod, Vesun, Athwalines, Amroli, Varachha, Kapodra, Undhana, Dindoli areas of the city.
