The Vadodara Bar Association elections are being held on Friday. Voting will be held from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm, in which 43 lawyers have filed nominations for 18 seats. However, after the counting of votes starts from 7:00 pm today, the results including the president, vice president and secretary are likely to be declared by late night. 3,845 voters are going to vote in this election. This time the number of voters has also increased. So that an hour of additional time has also been given for voting. CCTV cameras have also been installed at the polling station to prevent any irregularities. Which has been recorded and broadcast live. Earlier, voting could be done alphabetically according to the name. But now arrangements have been made to vote according to the Sanad number. Voting is being done this time with ballot papers. The results of the election may come till late night. In the Bar Association election, 3 candidates filed their nominations for the President, 4 for the Vice President, 2 for the General Secretary, 2 for the Joint Secretary, 2 for the Library, 2 for the Treasurer, 22 for the Managing Committee and 6 for the Ladies Reserve in the Managing Committee. Then, in this regard, Chief Election Commissioner Kedar Biniwala said that the date for withdrawal of forms. As per the notification, no one withdrew the form and the nomination of all the 43 candidates who had filled the forms has been confirmed. A total of 43 candidates are in the fray for various posts on 18 posts.
