AHMEDABAD: Bottled water industry leader Clear Premium Water and Ahmedabad Police Department successfully conducted a road safety and traffic awareness pilot project by distributing 1,000 helmets in the city during Navratri festival.
This campaign, conducted in collaboration with the Ahmedabad City Police, was organized during Navratri with the aim of reducing the risk of accidents.
The company has recently installed 100% recyclable benches made from recycled plastic in Prahladnagar, Dakshin Bhopal and Makarba in Ahmedabad as part of its social responsibility. This pilot project, undertaken in collaboration with Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC), has not only provided people with seating but has also helped reduce plastic waste and carbon emissions.
These campaigns showcase Clear Premium Water’s commitment to the well-being of society. This shows that the company remains dedicated to promoting safety and environmental protection in the city in collaboration with the government.
Nayan Shah, Founder and CEO of Clear Premium Water said, “This initiative is a significant step in raising awareness about road safety. It protects not only the driver but also the people walking on the road. By partnering with the Ahmedabad Police to distribute helmets, we are furthering our strong commitment to social welfare and sustainability. Our partnership is an important contribution to building a secure future for all.”
Ahmedabad City Police Commissioner GS Malik said, “The helmet distribution drive is a noble and laudable work aimed at creating awareness about road safety. It has been observed that most of the fatal accidents happen to two-wheeler riders, many of these deaths can be prevented simply by wearing a helmet. With the help of Clear Premium Water, we will be instrumental in saving many lives by distributing helmets. Along with this, we have also been able to spread awareness about traffic rules and safe travel on the road. We thank Premium Clear Water for this work.”
Ahmedabad City Additional Commissioner of Police, Sector-1, Neeraj Kumar Badgujar said, “The campaign was implemented in such a way that it got a great response from the people. Bike and scooter riders were very happy after getting the helmets. They became more aware of the importance of wearing a helmet to protect life. Our focus throughout the campaign was not on levying fines but on road safety awareness. There is a special appeal to the youth to use helmets. It is not only for their own safety but also for the future of their loved ones. The safety of one affects the safety of many. With everyone’s cooperation we will create safe roads for all. We are grateful for the support provided by Clear Premium Water to make this campaign a success.”
Clear Premium Water is dedicated to providing pure drinking water and contributing positively to society through various public interest initiatives. This road safety campaign is just a small part of the brand’s continuous efforts to create awareness among people.
Clear Premium Water Company is always committed to its social responsibility and its core values. Always actively involved in building a society that values public safety and is aware. This effort with the Ahmedabad Police sets a strong example of how public-private partnerships can address critical issues. The company is willing to participate in such initiatives in future as well.
