Crypto Currency Deal: Ahmedabad Police’s latest crackdown has become the center of debate. Ashok and the secret of five lakhs amid allegations that Zone-1 squad extorted 20 lakhs from a businessman
A man named Ashok from Ahmedabad developed a friendship with a businessman named Sudarshanbhai for the last one and a half years. Ashok, who had given the temptation to earn 60 lakhs in a week against an investment of 50 lakhs, now USDT. That is, crypto currency was lured. It was said that 30 lakhs worth of crypto currency was to be sold for 20 lakhs as a person was in need of money. Sudarshanbhai has USDT in his wallet. He said that he would give 20 lakhs only after coming.
After meeting near Vastrapur Mall, Sudarshanbhai was taken to Angadia firm on CG Road to pay the money. While waiting for crypto currency to arrive in the wallet, police personnel including Mayur, Amit came. Sudarshanbhai and Ashok were taken to the upper floor of Navrangpura police station along with Rs 20 lakh from the Angadia firm.
Both were presented with 20 lakh rupees to an officer who looked like a PSI in the office of the Zone-1 squad. Fearing that something strange would happen, Sudarshanbhai called his acquaintances. Under pressure, it was Ashok who recommended to let the Zone-1 squad go and assured to return 20 lakhs to Sudarshanbhai. In return Ashok Rs. Five lakhs were demanded to be paid. A police officer, who had previously worked in Nawarangpura and is currently working in Vejalpur, was made a maghyasthi and was given the charge of five lakh rupees. Five lakhs were received from Ashok in this way.
Sudarshanbhai evaded the police who threatened to prosecute him saying that crypto currency business is illegal and was released with the hope of getting back 20 lakhs. However, the money was not returned for three days and Ashok switched off his mobile phone. Finally, after businessman Sudarshanbhai submitted to the Police Commissioner’s office that he had been vandalized, the Commissioner of Police ordered an inquiry by a DCP level officer.
