Afghanistan Cricket Team: Afghanistan Cricket Team has made a big change in its coaching setup. Asia’s fastest growing cricket team has roped in an Indian legend in its coaching team. The Afghan team hopes that the Indian will contribute in the same way that Ajay Jadeja raised his performance level by working with them in the ODI World Cup. Afghan team has made Indian veteran player R Sridhar as assistant coach. 54-year-old R Sridhar has been appointed as the assistant coach by the Afghanistan cricket team for the series against New Zealand and South Africa. Let us tell you that Afghanistan has to play a Test against New Zealand while they have to play a series of 3 ODI matches against South Africa. Both these series will be played in India. Afghanistan team’s social media post also said, “We would like to work with Sridhar for a long time.” This means that if Afghanistan perform well in both the series, Sridhar could be made part of the Afghan team’s coaching for a long time.
