Assam Gang Rape Accused Committed Suicide: One of the three accused involved in the gang-rape of a 14-year-old girl in Assam’s Dheeg has died on Saturday morning. According to information received, when the police team was taking the accused for crime scene recreation, he committed suicide by jumping into the lake. Let us tell you that his hands were handcuffed. Accused Tafzul Islam was arrested on Friday and was taken to the scene on Saturday. The police said in this matter that the accused escaped from the police custody and fell into the lake. An immediate search operation was then carried out and his body was recovered after about two hours.
