This time in the Delhi Assembly elections, the Aam Aadmi Party is going to cut tickets for many of the present MLAs. Many big faces have also been included in this list. After Assembly Speaker Ram Niwas Goel, now Dilip Pandey has announced his withdrawal from the election fray. MLA from Timarpur Dilip Pandey has been the chairman of the Delhi Dialogue Commission and is the party’s chief whip in the Assembly. Dilip Pandey shared his picture with AAP’s national coordinator Arvind Kejriwal and said that he will not contest the elections this time. Pandey wrote, ‘After first building an organization in politics and then fulfilling the responsibility of contesting elections, now it is time to do something new by staying in the Aam Aadmi Party. Whoever contests from the Timarpur Assembly, Arvind Kejriwal will become the Chief Minister and we, all Delhiites, will also ensure this. I am confident that the capital of my relationships will remain with me, if anyone from AAP contacts me, I want to strengthen this trust even more.’ The party’s MLAs are growing restless after seeing the tickets of big leaders like Dilip Pandey being denied. The party has already denied the tickets of three MLAs present in the first list itself.
