Gandhidham: A school van carrying students collided with a trailer loaded with iron bars near Chopda Bridge in Bhachau on Tuesday. Eight of the students in the school van were injured in this tragic accident, while a 15-year-old girl died during treatment. A child injured in the accident is still critical, police said. Even though it has been more than 24 hours since this incident, it was revealed that the complaint could not be registered due to the lax performance of the police. According to the information received in this regard, the driver of school van No. GJ 15 CG 7849 had left for school by taking two male and seven female students from Nandgam, Nani Chirai and Gokulgam as usual. Meanwhile, he met with an accident on the Bhachau-Gandhidham National Highway around 7 am. In which the highway echoed with the screams of the students due to the accident of the trailer and the school van.
