The 70-year-old water line from Ajwa Sarovar, which supplies water to the eastern area of ​​Vadodara city, passes through Panigate tank and Char Darwaja area of ​​the city. The water line broke down near Rajarani Lake late yesterday evening. The water flowed back into the surrounding societies including Gaurav Society, Anuradha Society, Giriraj Society, and filled the water to the brim. Some houses were also flooded. Due to the rupture in the line, the water in the entire area reached as far as the Ajbardi Mill. The houses in the surrounding areas were also flooded. When the main road of the society was filled with water, a flood-like situation was created.
