Demonstrating a strong commitment to social responsibility and community welfare, Shrimad Rajchandra Hospital (Dharampur), Sahayog Group, and Khavda IVC Transmission Power Ltd. jointly organized a Blood Donation Camp at Tiskari Talat village in Dharampur, Valsad. Parth Traders (Vapi), Sakar Jivan Vikas Trust (Mumbai), Rambo Warriors (Dharampur), also supported the initiative. The camp successfully collected 35 units of blood, providing critical support to patients in need.

The primary objective of the camp was to promote awareness about voluntary blood donation and reinforce the message that blood donation is one of the noblest forms of service. With no substitute for human blood, timely donations are essential during emergencies such as accidents, surgeries, childbirth, and serious medical conditions. Such initiatives are especially impactful in rural areas where healthcare access can be limited.

The camp saw enthusiastic participation from local youth, village leaders, and residents. Each donor was presented with a steel bottle as a token of appreciation, reflecting both gratitude and a message of sustainable living.

Sarpanch of Tiskari Talat village, Mr. Dineshbhai Bhagubhai Bhoya, said , “This blood donation camp is an important initiative for our village. It is heartening to see such strong participation from our youth and community members. The program not only supports healthcare needs but also strengthens unity and humanitarian values within the village. We look forward to supporting more such initiatives in the future.”

Mr. Kandarp Pandey, Project Head – Valsad, Khavda IV C Power Transmission Limited, stated, “At Khavda IV C Limited, we believe that infrastructure development must go hand in hand with community welfare. Through initiatives like this blood donation camp, we aim to build meaningful and lasting relationships with local communities. The collection of 35 units of blood reflects the spirit of service and solidarity among the villagers. We remain committed to supporting impactful social initiatives in the region.”

Khavda IV C Power Transmission Limited is developing a 258-km, 765 kV double-circuit transmission line connecting South Olpad (GIS) to Boisar-II (GIS), strengthening India’s national power grid. The project plays a significant role in contributing to the country’s goal of achieving 500 GW of non-fossil fuel energy capacity by 2030. Alongside this critical infrastructure development, the company continues to implement community engagement programs that support rural livelihoods and social well-being.

The blood donation camp stands as a testament to how collaborative efforts between organizations and local communities can create meaningful social impact and help save lives.
