VITS Kamats Silvassa recently hosted the Kamat Art League, a drawing competition designed to encourage creativity and self-expression among children aged 5 to 15 years. The initiative was organisedas part of the 38th anniversary celebrations of Kamat Hotels & Resorts, marking nearly four decades ofthe brand’s commitment to hospitality, culture, and community engagement.Held on 31st January 2026, the event witnessed enthusiastic participation from young artists andfamilies from Silvassa and nearby regions. The hotel premises came alive with colour, imagination, andyouthful energy, creating a positive and inspiring atmosphere that reflected the group’s long-standingvalues of nurturing talent and fostering meaningful community connections.The Kamat Art League was conceptualised as a community-focused initiative that offers children astructured yet welcoming space to express their imagination through art. Participants were providedwith drawing materials at the venue and competed across age-appropriate categories. The eventconcluded with a formal recognition ceremony, where winners were awarded certificates and prizes,celebrating effort, originality, and creativity.Parents and attendees appreciated the thoughtful organisation of the event and the opportunity itcreated for children to engage in a creative activity outside their routine academic environment.
