
The 21st All India Convention of the AIMS will be attended by approximately 2,500 delegates from states across the country, including Gujarat, for three days to deliberate on labor welfare. The inaugural session, chaired by All India President of BMS, Mr. Hiranmay Pandya, will be inaugurated by Honorable Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, Union Minister of Labor and Sports. Ms. Michiko Miyamoto, Director of the International Labor Organization (ILO), New Delhi, will be the chief guest. International Symposium
The International Symposium, highlighting the relevance of labor movements in the changing global landscape, will be inaugurated by Honorable Chief Minister of Odisha, Mr. Mohan Charan Majhi. The participation of delegates from 15 foreign countries further enhances the global significance of this conference.
Women’s Participation in Trade Union Activities and Future Challenges
To ensure women’s participation in the trade union sector, a national colloquium on “Increasing Women’s Participation in the Trade Union Movement: Challenges and Opportunities” has been organized. The event will be attended by the Honorable Deputy Chief Minister of Odisha, Mrs. Parvati Parida, and the Chairperson of the National Commission for Women, Mrs. Vijaya Rahatkar.
