Bespoke Art Gallery, Ahmedabad proudly presents “Haiku of a Still Mind”, a major solo exhibition by celebrated Indian artist Satish Gupta, opening 1st February 2026 and running through 10th March 2026 at the gallery. Curated and presented by Bespoke founder Devin Gawarvala, the exhibition offers a rare opportunity to experience Gupta’s art—a practice shaped by deep reflection, spiritual inquiry and meditative engagement with form and material.

At its core, Haiku of a Still Mind is about attentive seeing,” explains Devin Gawarvala, Founder of Bespoke Art Gallery. “This exhibition extends an invitation—to slow down, become present and experience art as a quiet encounter with consciousness and coherence.

Art as Presence: The Vision of Satish Gupta
Born in Delhi in 1947, Satish Gupta is one of India’s most multifaceted contemporary artists—equally acclaimed as a painter, sculptor, poet, writer, calligrapher, draftsman, muralist and designer. His work embodies a lifelong exploration of silence, consciousness and elemental energy, and reflects an artistic philosophy rooted in Zen quietude and spiritual resonance. Gupta studied at the College of Art, New Delhi, and later enhanced his practice with advanced studies in graphic arts in Paris.

Gupta’s art is not merely visual—it is experiential. His sculptures and paintings are described as spatial meditations, where metal, form and void converge to evoke stillness and presence. He works with materials such as copper, bronze, steel, brass and mixed media, approaching each piece as a dialogue between material memory and inner silence.
