
Ahmedabad – The UBS Athletics Kids Cup hit a major milestone in its second season with today’s electrifying Ahmedabad City Final at the Sports Authority of Gujarat (SAG) Athletics Ground, Nikol. Launched in India three years ago, this pilot project engaged 20 schools and two academies, igniting widespread grassroots enthusiasm and talent discovery. Â
5,000+ children participated in school level competitions.  450+ finalists (approx. 250 boys, 200 girls) competed today in triathlon events: 60m sprint, long jump, and ball throw across ages 7-15.  Key Schools: Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul (Nikol), A-One Xavier’s School (Naroda), Maharaja Agrasen Public School, Somnath  Prathmik Shala (Hindi), Natraj English School, Devasya International School,Shree Narayana Guru Vidhyalaya, and others. Academies: Grow Academy, Sports Authority of Gujarat (SAG).Young athletes thrived in a vibrant, professional atmosphere fostering inclusivity, participation, and holistic growth. Winners claimed medals, certificates, and prizes amid cheers from families and coaches, forging lifelong memories and sparking athletic dreams.
