Bhavan’s Sheth R. A. College of Science, in collaboration with the Universe Science Forum, organised its annual scientific event “Vigyanam–2025” on 27 December 2025. The programme was specially designed for school and college students from Ahmedabad, with the objective of fostering scientific curiosity and innovation. The event featured a range of science-based competitions, including elocution, poster presentation, and science model/experiment demonstrations. More than 207 students from schools and colleges actively participated and showcased their scientific creativity and talent. The chief guests for the occasion were Mr Hariom Vats (Founder Director, Space Education and Research Foundation – PRL) and Dr Vrajesh Parikh (General Manager, Science City, Ahmedabad). Bhavan’s Ahmedabad Centre Chairman, Dr Mukesh Patel, and the principal of the college, Dr H. M. Patel, inspired students to pursue innovative research by drawing inspiration from nature and creation, and extended their best wishes for their journey towards becoming future scientists.The event was sponsored by the Arvind Foundation. Owing to their support, attractive cash prizes and certificates were awarded to the winning students at both school and college levels. The entire programme was efficiently coordinated by Dr B. A. Makwana, faculty member of Bhavan’s College, along with Mr Dilip Satasiya from the Universe Science Forum. The event concluded successfully with enthusiastic participation and positive response.
