The 35th citizen felicitation ceremony was held on Wednesday at the Shishuvihar campus in Bhavnagar in the presence of spiritual leader Morari Bapu. The annual event wasorganised in the memory of the institution’s founder and noted social worker, the late ManbhaiBhatt.The ceremony honoured people who have made notablecontributions across diverse fields.Mansukhbhai Suvagiya, recognised for his work in agriculture and rural development in Gujarat, andDr. Juin Dutta, who has been workingto integrate construction workers into the mainstream ofdevelopment, were felicitated with a cash award of Rs. 50,000 each.A total of 117 distinguished citizens werehonoured during the programme with the support andblessings of Chitrakutdham Trust, Talgajarda, and Morari Bapu. The award recipients have madeimmensecontributions to areas like education, healthcare, and social service.Among those honoured were Dr. Atulbhai, known for his work in promoting value-based educationacrossGujarat, and Mamtaben Purohit of the Ramakrishna Mission, whose efforts have inspired teachers and medical professionals. Children’s University Vice-Chancellor TS Joshi, who also served in the government for several years, was presented the award in memory of Vinodbhai Trivedi for his dedicated public service.
