The Governors of Gujarat and Maharashtra and the Chancellor of Gujarat Vidyapith Shri Acharya Devvratji were present on the first day of the two-day Graduate Association Centenary Festival being held at Gujarat Vidyapith. Union Sports Minister Shri Mansukhbhai Mandaviya was also present in the cultural program.
The Governor witnessed the cultural performances presented by the students of various departments of Gujarat Vidyapith. Cultural performances including Assamese dance, classical dance, silent acting, patriotic songs, tribal dance, Raas Garba were presented by the students of various departments. It is worth mentioning here that the Graduate Association, established in the year 1925, completes 100 years on December 6. In order to commemorate this, 15 Graduate Conferences have been organized since December 6, 2024 last year. More than 10 thousand students from 18 departments of 7 departments have been invited to attend the two-day Graduate Association Centenary Festival. Various presentations have been organized in 8 sessions in the festival. Graduates of various departments will be honored under the two-day Graduate Conference. Graduates and alumni will reminisce about their memories with Gujarat Vidyapeeth in various sessions.
